About the LCpl Worley Young Marines
Founded in 2004, the LCpl Worley Young Marines serves Norwalk-area families by helping youth ages 8–18 build leadership, confidence, discipline, and respect in a structured, drug-free environment. Our unit emphasizes character development, teamwork, physical fitness, and community service—supported by positive adult mentorship and a focus on responsibility and citizenship. Young Marines is not military recruiting, and members do not receive combat training; instead, youth gain life skills, friendships, and pride in achievement that support success in school and beyond.
